Shrimp fried rice at Karaku, a long-established Chinese restaurant in Takasaki ✨ A delicious restaurant that is crowded with regulars from 6:30 pm. Simple is the best flavor, cooked perfectly over high heat. Even for 720 yen, you get 5-6 shrimp. It was a delicious fried rice with soup, takuan, and small plates.

I had hiyashi chuka and gyoza. It's not that big of a dish, but the char siu topping is nice. The gyoza had a lot of meat and filling, making it very filling.

Today was my first visit to a Chinese restaurant in town. I ordered the levanilla set meal, and it was delicious, cheap, and slow (lol) When I say it's slow, I'm not being sarcastic; it's an elderly couple running the business, so it's normal for it to be slow. I just hope that stores like this will remain around forever. By the way, the price of the levanilla set meal is 650 yen (tax included), which is an unbelievably low price in the era of 10% consumption tax. I mean, this store hasn't collected consumption tax for decades. It's quite a big deal [laughter] #extremely delicious
