Ashikaga, Tochigi, Japan｜泰鵬 駅前店

When I went for a stroll to Ashikaga Station, I saw this restaurant listed as highly rated, so I visited there. While the area around Ashikaga Station was quiet, this store was thriving. I immediately ordered tanmen and gyoza. The tanmen was full of vegetables and was very filling. The gyoza was not too greasy and was easy to eat and delicious. It wasn't authentic Chinese food, but rather a nostalgic taste of town Chinese food. Even though it's a small town Chinese restaurant, the store is clean, so it's easy for women to enter. I would like to visit again if I come to Ashikaga.

I had half fried rice, boiled dumplings, fried dumplings, and levanilla. (Draft beer and bottled beer) The taste and service are prompt. The gyoza here has crisper skin and more presence than the famous Utsunomiya gyoza shop, Mi○mi○. The boiled dumplings didn't have a powdery smell either, and I was glad that they deliberately gave the impression that they weren't soups. The levanilla had no odor at all, and it didn't claim to be an oyster, so it was exquisite. thoughts‥ “Everything is delicious.” We have just the right number of people going around the store, so you won't have to wait. This weekday evening from 18:00 I stopped by when the store opened, but it was full within minutes. You will understand the food once you taste it. There are delicious things here. To put it simply, If there is a tissue box on the table... (I have a tendency to get a runny nose when I just eat.)

This store is located right in front of JR Ashikaga Station. I entered the store waiting for it to open at 11:30. A person who seemed to be a regular told me that the Cantonese noodles and Gomoku soba were delicious, so I ordered them right away. The thin Cantonese noodles topped with ankake have a gentle flavor and are quite delicious. Gomoku soba is exquisite with medium-thick noodles and salty soup. The restaurant seems to be run by a husband and wife team, but they are efficient and don't have to wait long.
