Okayama, Japan｜Kintei Chinese restaurant

I went to Kintei for the first time today. I wish I had known about this place sooner because the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the mapo tofu set meal and they were kind enough to fulfill my request to remove any pork from the dish. The food arrived quickly, made fresh and was very hot too. You can get refills of rice and soup too for no extra cost which is a nice bonus. If you are looking for authentic and affordable Chinese food in Okayama this is the best place to go. I will definitely be coming again and recommend others check this place out as well. Thank you very much! 5*

This is a family favorite. Delicious and not too expensive for the whole family. The sets are good, as is the "toshomen" (thick noodle soup). It seems to be fairly authentic, as it is run by a Chinese family and gets some regular Chinese customers. The main chef also has good service! (The only bad point is I wish it were non-smoking.)

Great Japanese Chinese food and extremely welcoming staff! Will come again next time we’re in Okayama!
