Mishima, Shizuoka, Japan｜中国四川料理 天鳳

All the dishes we had were tasty: Sichuan dumplings, soup dumplings, cashew chicken, and twice cooked pork. It was probably the best twice cooked pork I've had in Japan in a long time. None of the dishes were as spicy as you'd expect Sichuan style to be in general, but they were all flavorful and not at all disappointing! Service was friendly, too. Next time I'm craving Chinese food, I know where I'm going. Highly recommend!

The best ‘mabodofu’ I’ve ever had!

I heard that there is a restaurant in Mishima called Tenho-san, which serves delicious Sichuan cuisine and was selected as one of the 100 famous Tabelog Chinese restaurants, so I visited there. The owner, who is famous for the best mapo tofu in the Mishima area, trained at Kenichi Chen's Akasaka Sichuan Hotel for over 10 years. The ``Chen Mapo Tofu'' made by Mr. Chen has a deep flavor that makes you want to come back to eat it.
