More Comments at Google MapOji Park is a small Chinese restaurant called ``Zenbo'' located in the Suido shopping street. There are 3 counter seats and 4 tables for 2 people. It looks like it will be full at lunchtime. There were several set meals, but I chose the Dandan noodles (880 yen including tax). It said "You can have it spicy," so of course I ordered it spicy. I was really hooked on this Dandan noodles. The balance of spiciness, umami, and sourness is very good. I thought it might be a little small, but once I finished the soup, I was full. It's a little pricey, but the other dishes seem to be of high quality as well.
I thought the amount of sweet and sour pork would be small, but I was full after eating the dessert of almond tofu😋 I got some mapo tofu and it wasn't too spicy, but it was authentic and delicious💮 The store also seemed clean✨
I used to pass by the place all the time, but this was my first time visiting. It was a busy lunch time, just in time for the holidays. The number of seats is more limited than it looks from the outside, so we had to wait quite a while, probably because the person waiting in front of us was with a group of four. The porridge set was very satisfying as it included scallop porridge, fried soba noodles, and even almond tofu for dessert. The porridge has a light flavor, and the fried soba noodles have a light flavor that doesn't feel greasy. The crispy fried noodles had a nice texture. Next time, I'd like to go at a time when it looks like it's a little more empty and try some cloud noodles.
