The set meal consists of miso soup, white rice, pickles, and loin cutlet, but overall I felt the quality was high. First of all, the important thing is that the pork cutlet has a good seasoning, so it can be eaten as is. After the crispy batter, the juices from the soft and juicy meat slowly spread in your mouth. It's delicious with sauce, but I personally recommend trying it without sauce for the first bite. Next is the cabbage garnish, which is carefully sprinkled with perilla leaves. When you eat cabbage after a greasy meal, the shiso leaves will refresh and reset your taste. The pickles had just the right amount of saltiness, and I was impressed by the rhythm of the food. Next is the miso soup, which is red miso, which is unusual for Nagano Prefecture. However, because it is red miso, you can enjoy a strong miso flavor without overpowering the taste of tonkatsu. Every time I taste it, it makes me want to eat cutlet again.
