More Comments at Google MapRandomly walked into this restaurant because I was attracted by the huge banner outside the shop. Cant understand a single Japanese word on the menu but every meal is equipped with picture so no problem at all. And the waitress is super cute and helpful! Thanks for being patience with me. Will definitely visit this restaurant again when I got the chance to visit Matsumoto next time.
The tonkatsu is delicious, and I love that you can get unlimited refills of the rice, cabbage, and miso soup. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice, so I enjoyed my lunch leisurely. I would like to visit you again.
[Things you want to eat/recommended] ・Top loin cutlet lunch 120g 870 yen ・Top loin cutlet lunch 150g 980 yen The store is located along Yamabiko Street in Chikuma, Matsumoto City. The inside of the store is spacious, with tables and counter seats, and it feels clean. Katsuhana-tei is a tonkatsu restaurant affiliated with RDC, but since there are only two such stores in Nagano Prefecture, including affiliated stores, I would like to review it. You can enjoy a wonderful lunch with unlimited refills other than the main dish. The main cutlets include loin, fillet, chicken, and shrimp, and there is a wide variety of meat dishes such as beef cutlets and rice bowls. At lunchtime, there are many great value sets under 1000 yen, so we recommend them. Both lunch and dinner come with free refills of rice, miso soup, salad, and pickles for the main dish. The loin cutlet is small in width and thick, and has some fat, but even the loin cutlet is not that bad. The regular batter is used to fry the meat to make it crispy and moist. While the tonkatsu is basic and carefully prepared, I get the impression that there isn't much to write home about. I think it's nice that you can add black ground sesame and two types of sauce, sweet and dry, to your liking, even though it's trendy. I also think that the side menu that allows you to refill is a very good quality service. The cabbage in the salad is thinly sliced, fluffy, and delicious without being overly watery. There are also two types of dressing. For miso soup, you can choose between pork soup and shijimi soup. The pork soup has a bacon-like firmness that makes it interesting, and there is plenty of shijimi, and the red miso soup has a different taste. I think there are many restaurants that compromise on quality with such a wide range of all-you-can-eat services, but I think it's great that they don't cut corners. Although it is a franchise store, I always get the impression that the customer service is very good for a chain store. This restaurant is recommended for those who want a reasonably priced and filling lunch. <Revisit> I get the impression that during lunch time, it is crowded with a wide range of people, from office workers to families and the elderly. The interior of the restaurant is spacious, with table seats and counter seats, and the atmosphere is clean and not greasy. At lunchtime, there are many great value sets for less than 1,000 yen, and I think it's a great service that comes with free refills of rice, miso soup, salad, and pickles. In today's world, I think it's very nice to have an order-based refill service from a sanitary perspective. The tonkatsu itself is delicious, there are plenty of seasonings, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. I feel like the prices have gone up a bit, but it's still a good value for money store.
