Nagano, Japan｜Nagano Meijitei

It’s a little bit on the pricey side but the serving portion is rather generous (especially if you are a small eater; it was like 2-3 meals for me). Food was also good. I tried the venison set. Maybe not the greatest choice because it seems that venison is best cooked as a steak, but I wanted to try other ways of cooking this meat, so I got what I wanted.

Located at Mi do ri 3rd floor near Nagano JR station.. I prefer pork loin rather than pork cutlet.. The pork loin katsu is very statisfying: juicy inside, crunchy outside.. I recommend “the set menu” rather than bowl so you can enjoy your meat with/without sauce.. The sauce also matched with the meat/cabbage.. I’m also recommend pork loin curry rice.. The curry is rich & flavourfull.. It’s a little bit pricey but you will understand because the portion is Xtra Large..

Famous Sauce Katsu (cutlet) restaurant in Nagano. Pork is really fresh and they have their own homemade sauce. Located on 3rd floor of Midori Mall. Not crowded even during peak hours.
