The best sauce katsu I had in Aizu! I tried a couple sauce katsu spots when I was traveling in Aizu, but this place is seriously the best. The sauce katsudon comes with salad and miso soup, which you can get free refills of along with rice. The katsu here is extremely flavorful and tender, but the SAUCE they use for the sauce katsu is seriously incredible. Super flavorful and powerful with a nice tangy taste. This place also offers hot mustard on the side which is also a nice option.

I ordered pork loin take out and was pleasantly surprised by the quantity, presentation and care taken to ensure the bread crumbs remained crispy! there was a piece of styrofoam between the tonkatsu and cabbage, and the rice was packed separately. It only costs ¥890, which to me, is very value for money.

The place to go to whenever you are craving for good old pork katsu. They offer the loin or the tender katsu. Personally I prefer the fatty ones which is the loin katsu. The restaurant fried their pork to perfection with the crispy bread crumps outside with the tender meat inside. No frills and pure good quality local pork used. They are a chain and therefore, you can find them in most parts of japan. Good value for money.
