Iida, Nagano, Japan｜Senshuan

When I arrived at around 11:00 on weekdays, the place was already full and everyone had to share their seats. We shared a table, but it was nice that they had a white partition. Most of the customers seem to be ordering ``Tenzaru''. I also ordered ``Tenzaru'', and apparently the noodles were cold and the soup with tempura was warm... I looked at the menu and saw that the cold dipping sauce was also 50 yen, so I ordered an additional one. First, the warm tempura soup arrived, and it was delicious starting with the thinly sliced ​​shiitake mushrooms! The tempura only had two shrimp, but they were big and satisfying. Both hot and cold dipping sauces were delicious, but I personally prefer the cold one. There is a lot of soba-yu! At the end, we had a few soba noodles with a strong texture. The hot soup is sweet and thick, and I also drank the soba-yu completely.

Last time I went there around 12:00, there were people lining up outside the store and the parking lot wasn't empty, so I gave up. This time I went a little after 11:00 and was able to park my car and enter the store right away. The parking lot can accommodate about 10 cars, but it fills up quickly since many people come by car. There was disinfectant at the entrance, and when customers changed places, they waited and the desks and menus were thoroughly disinfected. The two of us ordered "Tenzaru soba" and "Tororo soba". Tenzaru soba, as you can see in the menu photo, is a bowl of hot soup with tempura. Cold soba soup could be ordered separately for an additional 50 yen. The crispy tempura was delicious, and the soba noodles were served with a slightly stronger soup. Tororo Soba contains fluffy grated yam and raw egg. Mix it with cold soba soup and eat it with soba. The combination of grated yam, soup, and egg was extremely delicious😋The sobayu was a smooth type. Even if I drank it as is, it warmed my body and was delicious. While I was eating, it started to get crowded around 12:00, so I think it's best to go early. As we were struggling to remove the pieces of soba from the colander, the hostess kindly told us, ``If it's difficult to remove, it's a good idea to use your chopsticks 😄.''

I ordered tempura soba (warm). Piping hot shrimp tempura appears with a crackling sound! The shrimp tempura mixed with the warm soba soup will increase your appetite. The noodles were very delicious with the flavor of buckwheat flour hitting my nose. This is a store I want to visit again when I come to Iida City!
