Saku, Nagano, Japan｜そば処 内

Incredible little gem in a random spot in Saku Nagano. The homemade teuchi soba and tempura are delicious, everything delicate. Karuizawa beer options are a plus. Owner / chef has great energy. So happy to have found it.

Visited on a Saturday at noon. No customers. Next to the golf driving range? If you don't know about it, you won't come and you won't notice it. Seating is only at the counter. Recommended items include soba, tempura, and kakiage bowl sets. I ordered the kakiage bowl set. The soba noodles are well drained, cold and fragrant. It's thin, but has some firmness. Tsuyu is also my favorite flavor. Kakiage is also refreshing and not greasy. Fresh incense too! The location isn't great and the atmosphere doesn't feel like a soba restaurant, but it's clean and the taste is definitely good! I think the lack of customers is due to low awareness, but I will visit again when I come to Karuizawa. Thank you for the meal.
