Katori, Chiba, Japan｜Suda Honten

Dashimaki, a familiar dish on Japanese tables, is one of my favorite dishes. This time I ordered "dashimaki" from Chiba. Founded in 1921, this is a popular chicken specialty restaurant in Chiba. The dashimaki, which is hand-baked by artisans to order, has a rich dashi flavor and the mild flavor of kombu (kelp) added to the egg, creating a mouth-watering aroma. It is a happy time to enjoy this local specialties at home. The dashimaki was so good that I ordered the yakitori set. I especially like the skin of the yakitori. It is a perfect accompaniment to drinks. Beer goes very well with yakitori.

Visited on Sunday around 1pm. Oyakodon is not available for takeout. I decided to eat in. The place was full, so I wrote my name and waited inside to be called. I ordered ``Oyakodon'' and ``Suigodori Marugoto Ippon'' and it was served in about 10 to 15 minutes. Both were delicious♪

I went there with three friends on the way back from visiting the three Togoku shrines. Many shops in the neighborhood were closed on Sunday, but they were open. In any case, the meat was fresh, tender, and the taste and texture were very satisfying! You should definitely try the yakitori in the photo. it's recommended. In addition to chicken and processed chicken products, you can also purchase a variety of other items that are good for your health. I bought free-range natural eggs. I immediately had it with egg-cooked rice. The yolk had a strong flavor and was very delicious. All the employees, including the person who answered the phone, are kind and the store has a very peaceful atmosphere. I would definitely like to stop by next time I go to visit the shrine.
