Excellent yakitori and a great selection of sakes.

Best yakitori I have ever had! My uncle was visiting Japan and I took him here - he was absolutely thrilled. There is a menu with lots of pictures and English writing - it was actually hand-made by the staff for foreign customers! We went with the “chef’s choice” dinner - 10 randomly selected pieces of all kinds of yakitori. It was really fun because was didn’t know what was coming next, and we got to try so many things! This restaurant is small, with only 3 tables and a bar, so be prepared to be turned away if they are already at maximum capacity. But if you’re lucky enough to get a seat, this is a Japanese food experience that will not disappoint!

This place is a well hidden gem. The food is excellent and the staff are absolutely fantastic. They warned us that they do not speak English, but despite the difficulties of communicating, they made a great effort to explain each dish and to make us feel welcome. We stumbled across this place and it ended up being our best culinary experience in Japan. We absolutely must recommend the chicken liver. Many thanks again to the chef and staff, we will do our best to come back!
