Nagano, Japan｜Yakitori-ya Smile (Sumire) - Nagano Eki mae

The food was delicious, and it's a good way to order various foods that you may not have tried before. The service is great, and the staff were extremely patient and friendly with us, and tried very hard to make sure we had a good time, even with a language barrier. You can order from an Ipad/tablet, which makes ordering in English very easy. Would highly recommend for everyone, especially English speakers!

A very nice place, you take your shoes off and sit on sunken tables. There’s an English menu which you can order from online and there was lots of great dishes. There’s no fish options which we thought there would be but actually everything else we had was great. Our favourite thing we had was surprisingly the grilled mushrooms!

Not cheap, but worth it. Izakaya ambience. Great tasting food. Friendly staff. Menu in english too!
