The taste of this kushiyaki is really great. In Kanamachi there are two locations, and this is the main one, just 5 minutes from the JR station. Friendly staff!

Friendly small izakaya with delicious yakitori. Patrons and owner are very kind and patient even with foreigners who speak no Japanese :-) Prices are reasonable, beer is Sapporo... I guess it's okay for people who like Sapporo :-)

When I arrived just before 8pm, there were only regulars sitting at the counter, but the restaurant gradually filled up. I thoroughly enjoyed the fragrant yakitori. I was particularly impressed by the crispy exterior, plump skin, plump, plump meat, and chewy texture. Finish off your meal by engrossed in slowly grilled rice balls and ochazuke chicken soup. I was satisfied! It cost 6,300 for 7 skewers x 2 people, 2 highballs, 1 chuhai, and 2 chazuke. Is it a little expensive?
