Torikizoku is a chain. As all of its restaurants, you'd better not be too much developed at the stomach level or you won't fit in the seats, as everything is packed to the extreme. The interior design is based on wood and small booths, nothing exceptional, but it's always giving quite a warm atmosphere. All orders are 280 Yen, food and drinks, and that's an extremely low price in Tokyo. Drinks aren't really tasty, but they're totally satisfying in that environment. You can opt for the regular beer, the alcohol-free beer or the jumbo-size beer, for example. And food... Mainly chicken skewers, breasts, legs, lever, skin, meatballs and so on. But they also have ramen, tomatoes, pork, deserts, fried potatoes, etc. All in quite generous portions from the Japanese standard, and all (depending on your taste) incredibly fulfilling your mouth with bliss and salty fatty flavors. Their new karaage has an integrated aromatic seasoning that is right enough to be felt in the background and have you begging for more, the sauce coming with the fried chicken shiso is not short of addictive. So, the whole thing is, you can enjoy the simple foods and drinks as much as you want, over a talk with friends in this always crowded and happily noisy place, the price will always surprise you, in the good way. Not a classy nor romantic place, not a secret hidden or special one. Just the place you can relax, chill, enjoy time laugh, eat, drinks and not worry about the bill. And they have English menus.
