I came to an izakaya by chance, charcoal fire. As a barbecue catering practitioner, I think this is the best restaurant I have eaten in Japanese Yakitori. There is no marketing, and the skills of the master seem to be a bit deep. Spray oil, turn over, and sprinkle materials in one go, without any sloppiness. The meat is tender and juicy, and the seasoning is just right, without taking away the taste of the meat itself. All I ordered are grilled with salt. The attitude is very friendly, I hope this store will continue to open, come on! I promise I will come again next time I come to Osaka!

Dropped by this izakaya style eatery at the recommendation of a friend. Went without a reservation on a weekday evening and was led up to the second floor where my family had a cozy tatami style seating corner to ourselves. Feel free to ask for availability of English menu. Hits are their assorted skewers (tomatoes, chicken, quail, etc.) and the grilled chicken don is pretty good too. Miss was the okonomiyaki which didn’t seem to cook through and was mushy. Drinks are compulsory for every dining pax as per the waitress who served us. Before settling your bill, you get a choice of ice cream on the house, which was a nice touch to cleanse the palate. For a family of three, the final tally was ~¥6600. Overall, an enjoyable dining experience and I’ll recommend you to give this joint a try when you are in the area.

So delicious. Chicken and green onion with salt was perfect. Really enjoyed the special amberjack and peanut sauce as well as baby corn with shiso. Some very unique pieces. Yuzu makoli soda was so refreshing. Very generous pour on the ume sochu. The hosts here are so friendly and considerate. Our group had to split up, but as soon as a table opened up by a group, they gave our friends the option to move tables even in the middle of the meal so we could all enjoy together. Would definitely recommend based on the people, food, and drinks.
