Osaka, Japan｜Sumibi-yakitori Kitcho Uehommachi

This was a highlight of our trip to Osaka. We're travelling with a toddler and even though this place is very much a spot for after work drinks and delicious food they accommodated for us. We don't speak much Japanese, they were very patient and kind. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was terrific (even though smoking is permitted, something we're getting used to here in Japan as we're from Australia) and the service was brilliant. Couldn't recommend enough. Absolutely loved it, will definitely be back.

A street store on Nagahori-dori. If you take a peek and it's empty, you'll just pop in even on weekdays. Yakitori is just the right amount of salt for me who is particular about salt. Sitting in front of the bar counter and smelling the fragrant aroma while drinking beer is the best! In addition to yakitori, there are dashimaki eggs, dumplings, and sashimi. This restaurant is perfect for one person or a family. Free refills of cabbage is also a nice service. Many people take it home. There are many seasonal original menus, and they are open until 5:00 in the morning! The best part here is that the deliciousness is stable even if the person at the grill changes! !

This is my first time visiting you😆 The store staff are energetic, cheerful, and very attentive. (*´ー｀*) It's so comfortable that I want to stay there for hours 🍻
