This is a very small shop, and there are about 7 counter seats and a handful of seats in a tatami room. The owner is friendly but doesn't speak much English, and there is only a Japanese menu, so being able to read and order food in Japanese is quite important. It is really worth going though. While it may be a tad more expensive than other yakitori places, they serve everything fresh off the grill and it tastes amazing. They also have an interesting side menu with items like gyoza filling inside of a chicken wing.

Visit without reservation. The newly renovated and beautiful 2nd floor. I only had about an hour so I didn't have much time, but what I ate was: hearts Hatsumoto Misaki×2 (My wife was hooked because it felt like there was cartilage attached to the bonji) Tsukune (It had a crunchy texture and was filling and delicious.) Potato yaki (Butter grilling mellows out the charcoal smell of yakitori.) tomato meat roll (The tomatoes inside were so hot that I felt like I was going to burn myself, but it was delicious and balanced well with the pork. I'm sure I'll be buying again.) potato salad (Large cut) Whitebait (It's better to ask for a palate cleanser.) Momotaro tomato (It goes great with coarse salt, and eating this between yakitori will refresh your palate.) The hot sake from Hakutsuru went well with the yakitori and was delicious.
