Osaka, Japan｜Yakitori Tokoha

Some of the best yakitori I’ve ever had especially the duck with mustard. We didn’t have a reservation but went early in the evening and the staff were very helpful with ordering and seating. Great gin and tonic with a local gin.

Great yakitoro place but they alsonhave other food and drinks. Make reservations!!! Ask the hotel to call for you. I prefer the first floor to watch the grilling but many people like the 2nd floor. I also prefer the first floor because they do allow smoking and the grill vent sucks a lot of that up. The chicken meatball was tasty but all were very good including chicken heart which was fattier than usual and not strong tasting. Service was good and food was well prepared. Would go again.

This place is an absolute delight. We have stayed in Japan for 11 days including Tokyo and Kyoto and always sought for local high rating places. This place by far was the best of all restaurants we tried in Japan some of which are really premium places. Every single dish we tried from starters to desserts was wonderful. If you are in Osaka, you should try this place. Arrigato Chef!
