Yorii, Saitama, Japan｜やきとり田なべ

Great little joint right outside of Yorii station. They were really accommodating to my friend and I, obvious non-Japanese, by using English (functional but not fluent). They were great fun, made recommendations and conversation and gave us that Cheers type feeing. Very cozy, very fun. We had four high balls of local Ichiro whiskey, 10 or so grilled veggie and meat sticks, some delicious oikimchi(cucumber with kimchi base), motsu(best I’ve had in Japan) and finally some assorted pickles to finish it off. Got out for around 8,000¥. It’s not the cheapest place you’ll eat, but hopefully it will be memorable.

There is a shop in front of Yorii Station. The kashira here uses the temple part of the pig. Once you eat it, it's so delicious that you'll be addicted to it, and I recommend it. We have a wide variety of alcoholic beverages, especially the whiskey Ichiro's Malt. If you want to eat delicious yakitori while enjoying sake, why not visit this place?

Yakitori (pork's temple) is quite delicious. Also, the whiskey (Ichiro from Chichibu) made me numb😊
