Hikone, Shiga, Japan｜Yakitori Daikichi Hikone Ginza

Great place on a rainy night when I passed through. I probably ate too much! Everything looked and smelled so good I just had to try a lot. The shop's staff were kind and made excellent suggestions, and it's master prepared a small amuse bouche of some sort of fish he had acquired. The grilled rice balls were also great, one of my favorites.

Great place. Food was fantastic and they are very nice to us foreigners. I will be visiting again before I go back home. Highly recommended.

When I stayed in Hikone for one night, I asked Mr. Google to tell me about a restaurant where I could grab a drink. Actually, I'm the type to eat local food when I travel, but I was so touched by everyone's reviews that I came to the store right after it opened. One female customer is at the end of the counter. I took the middle 🙆 ♂ I got a cold raw and immediately ordered yakitori. As I was thinking about what to do with my plans for tomorrow, I found the place full of areyoareyo. After all, it seems that there are a lot of regulars 🙋The owner happened to talk to me, "Are you close by?" The gifts from the regulars, the feasts from the regulars, and the sushi from the regulars... I was healed by everyone's wonderful smiles. It was a store 😉 Thank you for the fun time 🤗
