Awesome food and friendly staff! We ordered the omakase set B since most of the menu was in Japanese. The 8-course omaskase set was delectable with different cuts of chicken delighting our taste buds. Highly recommended!

3.5 on Tabelog so you know the locals love it too. Super fun atmosphere, chef speaks enough English to explain the part of the chicken he was presenting, but just get the course menu as Google Translate is not very good at Japanese avian vocabulary and a la carte ordering has a minimum of two sticks per type. The 2300 yen course comes with 10 sticks and chazuke which is a perfect ending to everything. Portions are very generous compared to the big cities. Liver and heart are brilliant. They also pour a strong whiskey highball ;)

You know the food is good when you are the only tourists at the counter. Don't get turned off by the small space! We sat very cozy with the locals and we enjoyed every bite! The only regret we had was that we didn't take the chef's recommended surprise 8 course menu, because everything tasted good we chose and everything looked good that we didn't take and the locals took.
