It gets dark really early in Lake Kawaguchi in autumn. This store opens at 6:30 and it’s already pitch black outside. but! really tasty! The owner is an uncle. He bakes it very quickly and has a lot of flavor. The ingredients are all fresh. It’s so refreshing to have two bowls of chicken rice soup on a late autumn night! 😁 Some people in the reviews said that the owner had a bad attitude, but he didn't. . . Just because my English is really not that good 😂 After the meal, he gave us an orange and said it was desert, which was super cute 😜 When visiting this store, it is highly recommended to know some Japanese or check it out in advance, otherwise it will be really difficult to communicate. . . Moreover, the menu is also written in handwriting, and Google translation is not very good. . . But overall, it is still highly recommended! tasty

Great food and drinks. Nice and cosy ambience. There’s a requirement to order set meals and a drink per person. Owner was one-man operation when we visited. Friendly demeanour but limited conversation in English, however managed to communicate using Google Translate. Highly recommended.

Nice, small dine in attended by a nice gentleman. It's quite local so browsing the menu is tough if for example you want to order specifics. If you want to try your luck the cooker put us a quite nice selection of yakiniku. Don't come in expecting English speaking and the whole touristy thing because you'll be disappointed. If you want to try local, are OK with cash only it's a nice place to try.
