Tsu, Mie, Japan｜炭火焼き鳥 しげおやじ

It's best to make a reservation on Saturday. All the grilled dishes are delicious. There are also recommended items depending on the day, so I look forward to that as well.

I was looking for a yakitori restaurant near Tsu Station and made a reservation 3 days in advance. I went there at 7:30pm, and all of the hori-kotatsu seats were occupied except for our reserved seats, and there was only one seat available at the counter. The inside of the store was lively and clean. Also, the seats in the kotatsu seats had blankets under my feet, which I was very grateful for as I tend to get cold. As for the food, it was relatively reasonable considering it was near the station, and the three of us ate our fill and each of us drank three or four drinks for about 15,000 yen. Personally, I like raw meat, so I was glad I chose this restaurant because they had some rare items like chicken yukhoe and white liver. I would like to book again if I have the opportunity. Yakitori is delicious. There are always a lot of people. Personally, I think I prefer the old days when the restaurant only had a counter, and the owner served the yakitori directly.
