I’ve been coming here since around 1998. This place has the best grilled chicken in all of Japan. All the Yakitori is cooked over real charcoal which gives it an excellent flavor. I come here mainly for the Yakitori and ice cold beers but they also have some very good quality salads and sashimi. If you are coming as a group I would recommend making a reservation. The service is excellent and the staff are always friendly. They do have a waitress who speaks English pretty well but not sure if she works everyday. If you are in Mito and want a some excellent food, come here.

I came back because I was curious about the curry udon and fried chicken that I couldn't eat last time. Curry udon has a Japanese-style soup with the flavor of dashi and spices, and is topped with clear and chewy tsurushiko noodles. delicious! It's quite voluminous, so just one piece will fill you up. The fried chicken seems to come in 5 large pieces, and for me, who was visiting solo, they served me 3 pieces. If it wasn't for this attentiveness, I might not have been able to enjoy the udon experience. thank you. The portions are huge, so it might be tough for solo customers, but they're so delicious that you'll want to come back again and again to try out different things. By the way, the clerk is also very beautiful. I think it's a good store in Mito♪

Third visit. I left the seasoning of the skewers to you. All of them have a great volume, so you will be quite full. There are many office workers because it is near the station. Even one person can drink at the counter. I feel lucky if I enter without making a reservation. The salad contains various vegetables and is very voluminous! ︎ A must-have dish! ︎
