When I went to Nagoya for the first time in a while, I made a reservation for the Sunday-only course at this restaurant, which I had been interested in for a while. When I made my reservation, I had the choice of sitting at the iron plate counter or at the bar counter, so I chose the former. I enjoyed watching the food being prepared right in front of me at the open kitchen counter in a relaxed atmosphere. As for the food, first we had the amuse croque monsieur and Ezo deer consommé soup. Does Croque Monsieur smell like truffles? The Ezo deer consomme didn't have any smell or taste at all, and was actually a mellow and delicious soup with a subtle sweetness. The first appetizer was Toyama horse mackerel with sour cream and gribiche sauce, and the second was red sea bream milt with kadaif and celery root sauce. Both take advantage of the main ingredients, and the gribiche sauce and celery root sauce do a good job. The meat dish is Mizusawa beef sirloin with dauphinoise, burdock, and Madeira sake sauce. The meat was delicious, fatty and sweet, and grilled to the perfect degree of rareness. Crab lovers will not be disappointed with the egg dishes, which include a luxurious omelet filled with snow crab and a rich crab bisque. The fish dish is natural sole from Aichi Prefecture, deep-fried Poirot green onion, and Bourguignon butter sauce. We had three different wines to pair with Shirako, Mizusawa Beef, and Hirome beef, and all of them were delicious on their own, but the pairing was also perfect. Dessert was Le Lectier made with white wine compote and vanilla ice cream, and it was a very satisfying course until the end.

This is a famous gem store located on Hisaya Odori. There are 6 seats on the teppanyaki side and 6 seats on the bar side, so if you want to order on the teppanyaki side, I think it's best to make a reservation as a course. The sommelier will be able to recommend wines that go well with the food, so please ask for pairings. The bar will also serve a la carte food, so feel free to order. The egg sandwich shown in the photo is so delicious that some people even order it home. Basically, if you like wine, I think it would be a good idea to consult a sommelier. We also have whiskey and bourbon, so feel free to stop by. The atmosphere is very nice, so it's recommended for a date or a meal with someone you don't like.

I accidentally posted it under the display name of "L'Atelier Izumi", so I'm reposting it. Both the restaurant and bar have 6 counter seats each. Satisfied with atmosphere, customer service, food, and drinks French foie gras is exceptional because it is now available at the highest quality, which is not normally distributed domestically. As for the wine, I heard that Chateau d'Yquem is also available if you ask, so I ordered it right away and the aroma was wonderful. It seems that VOSS mineral water is also available on a regular basis, and you may only be able to drink it here at the store. I was also kind of happy that the electric soap dispenser in the toilet was made by Simplehuman. There are many accessories needed for touch-ups, and the spacious store is very convenient.
