It had good reviews so I visited it while I was in Matsumoto. We had Shinshu salmon, Sanzokuyaki, horse sashimi, Nozawana, and local sake. The food was very delicious and the staff were very friendly. I visited alone on a weekday night, and I had to agree to time restrictions, ordering alcohol, and not being able to take photos of the price tags. As the owner stated, the rules were to protect the store, so I didn't feel uncomfortable. The inside of the store isn't very large, so you might be lucky if you can get inside.

It was the best. Arrived after 6pm. I read something about not drinking alone on weekends, but I was shocked. They let me through easily. Horse sashimi 1500 yen? that? I thought so Order it and you're right! The moment you put it in your mouth, it's soft and feels more like fatty tuna than meat. I definitely want you to eat it. The horse stew is also tender.
