Tachikawa, Tokyo, Japan｜佐藤(JAPANESE CUISINE SATOH)

My husband and I had a fun evening trying out Hachijojima Island specialties and other delicacies at this family-run bistro! The chef was very pleasant and friendly. The menu had traditional items as well as seasonal and unique ones. Our favorites were miso cream cheese and a tempura variety. This bistro also has an excellent selection of sake and shochu. I tried Ashitaba tea, an Island drink (non-alcoholic), which was very refreshing, and it supposedly has a lot of health benefits. Highly recommend!

This is a gem of a restaurant close to Tachicawa station. The food is fantastic and made freshly in front of you if you sit at the bar, which makes for a great experince. The owners are very helpful and welcoming. Next time we are in Toyko will be going again.

Delicious food and a great chef that speaks some English! Some of the amazing food here is made with ingredients sent specially from Hachijo-jima, and can’t be found in any other restaurant.
