More Comments at Google MapCool atmosphere with private rooms and nice background music, very creative menu. Good service. Not the typical Japanese restaurant, it's worth visiting! I loved that at the end when we were leaving they came to wish us good luck with a ritual rubbing two stones and creating sparks :)
Wonderful kaiseki meal. Food was delicious and service was warm. Chef Murayama-san was friendly and we had a nice conversation throughout the night. He is dedicated to his craft and tries to marry Japanese food with French cooking style. His foie gras with fava bean dish is a great example. So delicious and creative. We also like the spring roll with clam and shrimp that came in a cute special pie packaging like the one from McDonald's. The restaurant is in an old house with a lovely koi pond. Celebrated my husband's birthday there and we enjoyed our dinner very much. Highly recommended.
Love this restaurant. The environment, creative food, people all are in Michelin level. When they know we don't speak Japanese, they tried so hard to explain us every dishes ingredients and meaning. They told me what's three meanings of Kaki. Now I still remembered. When we leave the restaurant, they even gave us a tradition Japanese blessing for best luck. Enjoyed every moment there. That's absolutely a highlight of my trip. Will definitely visit again.
