A Japanese restaurant in Gotanda that opened in March 2023. I've been curious about this place since I saw it in the Shinagawa Keizai Shimbun, so this is my first visit! This is a restaurant that hits just the right itch, with an atmosphere, quality, and price that you won't find in Gotanda. The chic interior with the main counter makes it suitable for a date, and since it was a weekend, there were many young couples. There seems to be a private room in the back, so it's good for multiple people. It's rare for Japanese restaurants to have pairings, so this time I ordered a course x pairing, and my friend ordered individually, so it was ok to pair for just one person (thank you...). The owner was very knowledgeable about Japanese sake, and it was really fun to talk to him! He made subtle changes in temperature to highlight the sourness, and he also served 3 types of Japanese wine, which was fun. The lineup of Japanese sake ranges from classic to rare. Kameizumi's pink label made me numb~cries!! The food is not only delicious, but the seafood itself is delicious. The clay pot rice at the end was freshly cooked and fluffy and perfect. On the way, they gave me red bean liver and poured me some Kameizumi, so the service was perfect and my heart was also perfect 💯 Apparently, this was the first time someone had come to the store after reading the Shinagawa Keizai Shimbun newspaper, and I laughed at myself for always being in the minority.
