Top-notch traditional kaiseki dining in Asakusa, and wonderful people. Delicious food and excellent sake selection.

Very quite and really friendly place. Food was fantastic! I almost never give 5 stars. They are a little nervous if you have very little Japanese.

My husband visited this restaurant because a customer from Asakusa recommended it as a delicious restaurant. I had a 9,000 yen course for lunch. When I made the reservation, I was told that the private room was full, so I had to use the counter, but due to coronavirus precautions, only one group could be accommodated, so I was grateful that I was able to reserve it for myself. I'm sure things will be different once things return to normal, so we had a very luxurious time. Also, the cuisine is seasonal, and Edo cuisine is rare these days. But there are also modern ones. Everything is very nice, including the utensils. Delicious etc. is my personal preference so it's subjective. It's all things I want to eat again. There were some reviews saying that the taste was strong, but when you think of regular kaiseki or Kyoto kaiseki, it's more of a strong flavor. But this store is like that. It's also written on the homepage. We recommend that those who go also understand this. And what I felt good about at the counter was My husband is a sake lover, so I wanted to try various sakes. The owner is also a Japanese sake lover, so I was able to ask him a lot about alcohol. I had a rare experience such as being able to suggest alcohol that would go well with the food. Our family drinks a variety of types of alcohol, but there are some rare ones as well. Please enjoy the hospitality that can only be found at the counter. thank you very much.
