More Comments at Google MapBeautiful dinner with the most welcoming of staff and chef. They were so nice and friendly, it made the intimate setting very relaxing. Think of it as if visiting someone's home and having a home cooked meal but with fine dining service and food. The dedication and care to details to the food is clearly evident. We got front row seats to the chef's many cooking techniques and creative plating. The chef and staff speak limited English but provided an English menu and did their best to explain each course and even googling pictures and using google translate to describe the meal. Definitely one of the best meals and experience here in Japan.
What an amazing experience I had at Kaminoza! Not only the food was delicious, it was educational too. It showcased the traditional Japanese cuisine which uses locally sourced fresh ingredients and utilizes special cooking techniques and utensils to bring out the natural flavors. Everything was made in house, even the soy sauce. The chef is also a wine sommelier, and the sous chef is a sake sommelier. I had a sake tasting, and also tried some Japanese wine which were amazingly good. I was definitely caught by surprise. I especially loved the old wine pinot noir from Kyoto. I definitely recommend you to try if you have a chance.
This was my first fine dining place in Osaka. I really enjoyed everything. The food, service, and atmosphere were very nice. Also, the chef was able to explain the food in English, which is a rare experience in Japan. I would recommend the place definitely.
