Visited for lunch on Sunday noon. The best lunch for 1600 yen! I usually choose lunch for around 1,000 yen, but Waka's lunch is still cheap at 1,600 yen. Everything is exquisite, with Kyoto-style seasoning that brings out the flavor of the soup stock! However, if you visit without making a reservation, please note that it will take about 20 minutes to be served. A hidden gem run by an elderly couple. I want it to last forever. That said, Obanzai's lunch is also extremely satisfying. I think the contents change depending on the season, but when you take off the lid of the large bowl, you'll find a bustling array of side dishes waiting for you. Each dish is elaborate and delicious. Depending on the stock, eggplant and herring may be added in a separate pot. Reservations are required even for lunch, or rather, it is essential to make a phone call before visiting. It looks like they'll be preparing the food as well.

It took a little courage to enter. It's worth the courage. There was a counter and a tatami room, and there was only one type of lunch set. It's more voluminous than you might imagine, so it's best to come hungry. You will be happy with Kyo Obanzai's cute small plates and seafood. The eccentric (as written on the curtain) general and the good-natured landlady created a nice atmosphere.
