kaikatei is our favorite udon place! We drive 4hrs round trip from Tokyo just to eat udon here. Their menu is always simple.. 5~6 udon sets to choose from. Our favorite is the hot kinoko udon.

Great atmosphere, very beautiful garden, friendly staff, food is really good and nicely presented. Highly recommended.

We had an absolutely wonderful time. The mushroom broth had an amazing delicate flavor. And the staff we're very welcoming!
