Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan｜Akinai

Found this restaurant when in Yokohama for a conference. Although we didn't speak Japanese, the waitresses were ever so hospitable to make us feel comfortable. We were a group of 7 people including a child. The menu were in Japanese, but the pictures were very helpful. Great value for the high quality food provided! You know the food is good as this is where the locals eat.

It's a store that's been around for a long time...I heard it was expensive, so I had a hard time going there, and I didn't know what the atmosphere was like inside, so I skipped it! It's my first time going and I thought it would be a good idea to read the reviews and look at the menu before going, and it's not that expensive, right? I thought so and went there. We went as a group of 4 adults and instead of ordering a course, we ordered all the food and drinks separately! Among them, I ordered 2 tea soba noodles, 3 sukiyaki dishes, and 1 meat refill, as shown in the photo. About 15 drinks total? It was all over the place...it cost about 35,000 yen. The sukiyaki was super good and the meat was amazing⤴️⤴️ and it was delicious in many ways. I thought it was a private room and a place where I could relax and drink! I will be going there again soon. Thank you for the meal💮 Again, we all visited. It was still delicious and my friends were satisfied... Last time we had a small private room on the 2nd floor, but this time there were 6 of us, so we had a large private room on the 3rd floor. I really like this restaurant ♥ Thank you for always providing delicious food. Thank you for the meal!

I visited for lunch and had the Japanese meat Yanagawa set. It was delicious. It will come out soon, so you might be able to go on your lunch break.
