Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan｜Kukai annex

Discovered Kukai Annex because we were in town on a Saturday and the main store does not serve lunch on the weekends. I saw the posted menu that had the Tempura set lunch on it but the menu we received did not have the Tempura set lunch on the upper left corner. We asked if we could order the Tempura set lunch and they allowed it. It was just as great as the main store! I'm so glad the Annex is open on Saturdays!

We use it on special days. The prices are high, but the food is worth it🎵

The taste of a restaurant. 1000 yen is crazy! Of course, the freshness of the seared horse mackerel is amazing, but when you cook it with shishito peppers, it's so delicious that you wonder, ``What is this?!😆''. Even the seemingly ordinary items, such as chawanmushi and hijiki, have a really elegant finish, and you can tell that they are made with care. Also, miso soup. This is by far the best tasting miso soup I've had in the past few years. Some kind of unusual soup stock. A delicious and delicious dashi soup that is complex (probably not a single item) but not too overpowering. I found a good store♪
