I had a great evening here. The lady owner is really welcoming and speaks good English. The restaurant is clean, cozy and quiet, with jazz music playing in the background. The kaiseki dinner is really tasty and fulfilling with a little twist and no fuzz. The price is very reasonable. The owner said her son is the chef. I could tell he put a lot of efforts in all the dishes he made. I would definitely come back next time I am in Kyoto. Highly recommended for people looking for good, delicious food in a warm, friendly atmosphere.

One of the best meals of my 2 week trip to Japan. Every course was outstanding and I can’t wait to come back and tell my friends to come!
