There are many restaurants in the city that claim to be hidden gems, but this one is truly a hideaway restaurant. I got lost the first time I went there, so if it's your first time, I recommend going from the shrine side. At this price, you can enjoy delicious food and a hidden atmosphere. I always make reservations when visiting Kyoto. This restaurant only has counter seats, so reservations are required. I'm sure there are many delicious restaurants if you don't care about price, but I recommend this one for both the pleasure of traveling and the food. 2022/7 revisit We had a blissful time with about 10 dishes. I remember that it used to take about 3 hours, but lately it's been a quick 2 hours. Reservations are required for 2 people or more for counter seats only. The number of items and this dish at this price is unbelievable.

It was a very satisfying 3 hours with fresh ingredients in the off-season season of September. Drinks were reasonably priced, so I was able to enjoy drinks easily.
