Go there for good value kaiseki - perfectly combined ingredients in every of 8 servings for 7000 yens. Yes - there's no English menu - use Google Lens and Google translate for conversation as almost no English is spoken, but place feels authentic and unspoiled, moreover - the owner will make you feel very welcome despite language barrier.

A nice surprise off the beaten path. The elderly couple managing the place were very welcoming and they made up for the lack of English with kindness. The food was really good and different from what you often eat in other restaurants. The set meal I ordered included several delicious dishes, and at the end I was stuffed. Prices were perfectly reasonable. Definitely worth the detour!

Had a wonderful experience. The lady working there was so sweet, caring & hardworking, it felt like my grandma was serving us. The tempura was also very good, me & my friend will be going again sometime soon. Although, knowing the opening hours would be nice :')
