This restaurant really blew our minds. We couldn't stop exclaiming wows. It really wasn't a restaurant in the usual sense. The business has been in that location for 97 years while the building was much older as a former residence. We had a private room which looked out into a large and beautiful garden. The meal was wonderful as was the service. Afterwards we were given a tour of the grounds which included a 400 year old small house. This was our most expensive kaiseki meal and one of our top most memorable dining experiences.

Great service, one lady speaks English so makes the experience even better. Price is high but quality is just worth it. Every single dish has a unique flavor, texture and perfect presentation. There is a parking place right crossing the street and prepare for an incredible and peaceful atmosphere while enjoying your meal.

The service is very good, an old shop with a sense of history. The female general's kimono is so beautiful.
