I have lived in Gotanda for half a year. Every time I pass by, I see a lot of people queuing up (no matter what time it is) But it is too difficult for our company to eat udon standing up So many times I wanted to eat but in the end I chose to give up. One afternoon today, when I found no one in line, I mustered up the courage to ask if I could pack. I was told that I could, and I breathed a sigh of relief. In the end, my poor Japanese revealed that I was Chinese, and the clerk was also Chinese. I was ecstatic! ! ! ! ! I couldn't wait to eat it when I got home, it was really delicious and amazing and the price was very affordable! The taste is so light but so delicious, the tempura is delicious! ! I will go for takeout again in the future, it’s great to have Chinese people out there! !

A remarkable experience. I have never felt so much pressure to eat quickly at any eatery before! This operation is a 10-pax standing room only hole-in-the-wall store that runs on incredible efficiency. You pick your meal and pay through a push-button ordering station and then wait along the sidewalk for someone to beckon you inside. You place your ticket at the counter and within a minute, your food arrives! The meal was tasty, with flavorful broth. Noodles were nice and chewy, soaking up the broth. The chicken tempura was freshly fried, crispy and warm, sitting in the cold broth (you can choose hot or cold udon). There were no drinks available. I was in and out in probably 10 minutes. Each person's meal is about 500 - 1000 yen for a very good meal. Very good quality and freshness for the price. Quite the experience!

Delicious! This little eatery is a standing udon restaurant that can fit maybe 10 people at a time. The food is affordable and hearty. I got the “Black” set I think it was called, it was about ¥1,000 and absolutely divine. It is also seemingly a hit with the locals which makes this place that much more authentic. Highly recommended! Not much of a queue because food came fast and people leave after eating. Efficient!
