Very different from commercial udons. This broth was very clean tasting, hints of ginger and dried fish. The kind where you can keep drinking the broth without becoming thirsty. Noodles were perfectly Al dente, irregularly cut so it should be handmade. A homely taste

This place is a “hidden treasure” in Naka Meguro. It is not located in a prominent place but it is always crowded. My daughter loves udon and she loves this place the most! Even though I am not a “udon” person, but I must say the udon here is really very good! There is a waiting time of 10-15mins (to cook the udon) but it is definitely worth it as the texture of the udon is perfect! The soup base is good too! The only thing I wish they can have is probably to add some “manly food” like Tempura Don etc so that fathers like me have an alternative other than Udon. But overall, highly recommend for people who loves udon!

A local cozy Udon place which has a taste for sake as well. The portions are generous so one can get a proper lunch meal here. The staff were not particularly friendly, but I guess in busy lunch time one cannot expect much omotenashi! I tried the hot udon with vegetable and it was tasty.
