I can't recommend this place highly enough!!! They make all their own ingredients daily including the dashi (broth) and different types of noodles using all organic ingredients. I went a few times and everything was fresh, and delicious. The food is so good, the prices are unbelievably competitive, and check out the restroom and payment method, so cool, so Japanese!!!! The interior uses lots of recycled materials and the staff are wonderful, they speak some English and the menus are available in English too. This place is a safe haven for single girls and very family orientated environment on the weekends. If you're in Ebisu and looking for udon or soba, go visit Choumei Udon, you won't be disappointed.

I have no clue how this place isn't 5 stars. The staff were so nice, came outside while we were debating and handed us an English menu. Plus the food was amazing. Thank you!

I came here after hearing a rumor that Kishimen from Nagoya was opening a store in Tokyo. The inside of the store has a U-shaped counter, table seats, and a wall-facing counter, so it can accommodate quite a few customers. When you are guided to a counter seat and sit down, a receipt with a QR code is placed for you to use your smartphone to view the menu and place your order. (There is a menu at the counter) I wanted to eat cold kishimen, but since I could have a combination, I ordered 2 types (kishimen, udon) and kakiage, and my partner also ordered 2 types of kishimen and burdock tempura. The rice bowl arrived in about 10 minutes, and the freshly fried tempura arrived at the same time. A sip of clear juice Hmmm, the bonito soup is delicious❕ Both the kishimen and udon noodles were chewy and smooth, and I've never had anything like this before in Tokyo. Too delicious!! ️ The kakiage is crispy and the carrots and onions go perfectly with the udon noodles. I received it in no time. To pay, hold your barcoded receipt over the payment machine inside the store. Next time I’ll try the soba too⤴️ I was a little concerned about this, even though it was past the lunchtime peak, the staff seemed busy and busy. The atmosphere didn't make me feel like I was having a relaxing meal⤵️ Please be a little more relaxed when serving customers. Thank you for the meal.
