4th visit in 4 years! Forget all the information and order a large portion! It was mid-afternoon, and the shopkeeper was managing the food by himself. After a while, the ordered item arrived. The moment I saw it, I thought it was a big deal! Isn't it special? That's the amount of levels! The soup was delicious, and the noodles had just the right amount of chewiness, so I enjoyed them till the end, but I'm glad I didn't order the special size! That's what I thought. This is a recommended udon restaurant. The photo is of mushroom meat udon tsukemen.

I ordered the extra size of Tsukeniku udon. Apparently the amount of noodles was 1.2 kg, so I should have checked before ordering. It seems that even a large serving weighs 800g. The noodles are medium thick and chewy. The soup is thick and goes well with the noodles. The price is low, so the udon is good value for money and delicious.

I had the dipping soup udon. The udon noodles had just the right amount of firmness and the dipping sauce was delicious.It was well worth the two-hour drive from my home in Yokohama. The price of 650 yen is reasonable. I ordered a large portion for an additional 150 yen, but it was too much... It was hard to finish it all!
