Oshino, Yamanashi, Japan｜Hikobe Udon

20220819 - I’ve tried many Udon noodles in Japan but to be honest, I was never a Udon noodles fan. However, this shop totally changed my impression for Japanese Udon noodles. After visiting Oshino Hakkai (忍野八海), I was searching around nearby for some foods and luckily found here. The hand made Udon noodles are simple but taste awesome. It tastes fresh and kind of naturally sweet, not sure why it tastes so good because it’s made with water from Mt. Fuji? I would never forget this Udon noodles. I’d definitely visit here again next time I come to Yamanaka lake.

It’s close to Oshino Hakkai, where is very good location. U can see Mt. Fuji so clearly. And the Udon are affordable prices!! We can enjoy the local food nearby Mt. Fuji!

Udo noodle taste great! Owners are very friendly.
