The food here is so good!!!! Glad that I chanced upon it. The chicken thighs were so succulent, and the chicken katsu thingy was so juicy and had a crunchy exterior. The food tastes so good, I'll definitely come back for seconds :) get the all-meat option. Noodles were 1600 yen and the ume wine was 400 yen.

Stopped here during our day trip to Kawaguchiko and left with full bellies. If you can eat alot I would definitely recommend trying the Jiro style udon noodles they have. They have a vegetarian udon dish as well that my wife enjoyed too. I would recommend this place to anyone stopping by the area, its depth of flavours and thick hand made udon noodles leave you wanting more even though you can't eat another drop!

We were having so much hard time finding a place to eat without standing in a super long line. Glad we found this place. The seatings are all tatami which was really cozy and relaxing. We stood briefly for 10min before seated. There was an English menu and the owner was so nice taking our order. We ordered fish cake and shrimp tempura udon. Both were served really quick. Either way we had a fun time sitting and looking out the windows. The price was very nice. Their udon noodles are handmade and they clearly said this udon style would be slightly tougher than normal. They also have different spices you can try and you can choose to buy them. We got a sauce on our wait out and can't wait to use it when we are back home.
