Thanks to the review from John Andrews I went here for lunch. The shrimp tempura was amazing. I can't read (or speak) Japanese, but Google Translate had no trouble with the menu.

Excellent food at a very local place. These kind of places are becoming a thing of the past unfortunately. Very good prices and the owners were very kind. Menu is in Japanese only.

It has the atmosphere of a good old town tonkatsu restaurant. Cutlet curry ￥800- Order. Yellow roux, chunky onions, and meat. It's not very spicy, but it's perfect for someone like me who doesn't like spicy food! There's plenty of meat in there! Although the meat is fatty, the fat is crisp and the flavor explodes the moment you bite into it! The fatty meat of the cutlet also has a strong flavor. It was a very satisfying curry with plenty of volume and a low price! 800 yen is cheap! I had it two days in a row! Thank you for the meal!
