Just when I thought tonkatsu (breaded, deep-fried pork cutlet) couldn't get any better, I stumbled upon this lovely restaurant. This place ticks all the boxes for what makes a tonkatsu restaurant a great one: generous portion sizes, flavorful tsukemono (pickled vegetables) that not only adds contrast to the oily tonkatsu but also enhances the flavor, homey and soul-warming miso soup, fluffy white rice and of course, a cutlet that is cooked to perfection. The tonkatsu was both crunchy and juicy, truly a delight to eat. However, there was something that I did not expect to have that truly elevated the entire dining experience; a spicy sauce bursting with flavor. I had almost dismissed this sauce as just another Japanese "spicy" sauce, meaning not spicy at all. But on a whim, I decided to try a little bit on the salad and it was love at first taste. I was not expecting the deep and complex flavors that coated my palate. It was one of the best tasting sauces that I've had, not just in Japan, but ever. There was tang of bitterness, a sprinkle of sweetness, and plenty of spiciness. What impressed me the most was that the spiciness was only felt after all the other flavors had their time in the limelight. It was more of an aftertaste that lingered just long enough to be felt until the next bite. I wish I could have this sauce every time I eat tonkatsu. I even tried asking if they sold it, but unfortunately, they do not. This restaurant is a bit out of the way, but if you are ever near the area, it is a must visit. Also want to say thank you to the staff for their warmth and friendliness.

I had the black pork loin cutlet set meal. Even though it's extremely thick It's so soft! Maybe here You can eat the most delicious tonkatsu in Japan It might be a shop. That's my personal opinion lol It has volume There's a lot of cabbage too It may be too much for women. my stomach is bloated I fully opened the zipper lol It would be best to wear clothes with elastic around the waist.

It would be nice if it was nearby❗️ I had the popular "Onikatsu Set Meal". A well-balanced dressing is used for the onion topping, which makes the blood smoother. was delicious.
