Visit us casually while traveling. A famous restaurant tucked away in an inconspicuous location along the river. It's located in a really difficult place, so you might not be able to find it easily if you're seeing it for the first time. The restaurant has a homely and calm atmosphere, and is almost full, with the gentle proprietress running the restaurant all by herself. I ordered the mixed fries set and my wife ordered the pork steak. The pork steak, which seems to be the signature menu item, is thick, yet soft and juicy, and the fat is sweet and wonderful. There's no stringiness at all, and you can see the careful work that went into the high-quality meat. Mixed fries include shrimp, squid, and fillet cutlet. The shrimp are huge and have plenty of meat, and the fillet cutlet is incredibly soft, falling apart when you bite into it. It's amazing that you can get change for 2,000 yen for both. The beef tendon stew is thick and almost like beef stew. I felt like a little effort was put into the salad and miso soup that came with it, and they were all absolutely delicious... I'm really happy to have come across such a wonderful shop during my travels. Recommended! However, please note that it is only open on Saturdays and Sundays, and only serves lunch on Sundays.
